I also forgot about the whole building explosion, huh maybe my memory of this isn't the best then, especially if I forgot two of the best "Oh-Shit" moments where Shizuo saves Izaya.

Still love how absolutely adamant Shizuo is in saving Izaya despite what Izaya constantly says to him. Poor poor Izaya, his situation just continues to get worse and worse. At least now he's actually entertaining the idea of Shizuo liking him, and figuring out if he likes him in return. I just love the not-so-silent pining Shizuo exhibits when it comes to his flea, and now they're both slowly starting to pine for each other. 3

I love Izaya's slow realizations and disbelief of his love for Shizuo, he really doesn't want to believe it, or does he? Haha, gotta love how confusing emotions can be.

This chapter started off so cute, well maybe started off a lil Rocky at first but it overall became a cute morning between the two.

I adored the little fight scene they had, Shizuo is so right in what he says, Izaya is always very stubborn huh? But they both are stubborn, just that Shizuo has the right to be here while the flea is too attached to his pride. It's kinda sad how Izaya has never had to rely on others before, it makes sense as to why though... Poor Izzy. I also just love how vulnerable they are afterwards and they have breakfast, Shizuo is just so caring and they're both adorably teasing each other.

Hmm so Izzy's broker is the only one he can trust 100% huh? Well if my memory serves correct then uhhh... ... ...'kay.

I also just love the last part, seriously Izaya, you say all that stuff out loud and it sounds so obvious yet you're sooooo oblivious to Shizuo's feelings! So much so your broker comes up with the obvious conclusion as a joke! Silly Izzy.

Again, poor Izaya, he's been through a hell of a lot within 6 chapters, with 32 still left lol, I really like how long you make these, great long stories with great long chapters. I feel that if Shizuo just mentions Arizawa and describes him then a lot of this would be fixed, or at least easier to handle.

I keep saying this but I just love confused Izaya sooo much, I just love how Shizuo is also kinda smug, with the whole 'your the information broker, figure this out on your own' thing, especially considering it being his feelings, it's just so something Shizuo would tell his precious flea to work out on his own. I also love how protective Shizuo is over Izaya, and how even if he 'knows' it's futile for Izaya to love him, he will protect him always. Ahhh that carrying scene was so cute too, love how Izaya clutches onto Shizuo!

I also just love how you handle the others too! Shinra is quite observant isn't he? :) He's got a good eye (even though it's obvious) to notice how much Shizuo loves Izaya. Just love both Shinra and Celty, especially how much they actually care about both Shizuo and Izaya, Celty's nicer, but even Shinra has a soft side for the both of them, I love it when he's serious! 3

AHHH this is one of my favourite chapters in this story where shit hits the fan, badly. Poor Izaya! Dear god even in his line of work that must be the most terrifying thing for him, especially considering... later chapters, where being trapped and threatened has quite the connections back to this situation. Shizuo definitely is ready to kill now, the fall was one thing and a catalyst starting it, but threatening to cut Izaya up into pieces and torturing is where he definitely snaps. Ahhhh I feel so bad for both of them, especially Izaya though since he's getting and been getting the brunt of all this confusing mess being shoved into his "peaceful" observant informant life.

I just lo-o-ove how you write Izaya, just really, he's grasping at straws and finally gives up, only to get the shock of his life when his "enemy" saves his ass, again.

Just all the emotions, the thought process, everything! I really adore your writing even back here in your first fanfic, this kind of stuff is what makes me aspire to be a writer, everything is so well done and understood about the characters, and you just continue to grow, I love this stuff. :)

I LEGIT FORGOT THE FALL HAPPENED IN THIS STORY. It's one of several of my favourite scenes from this story, and I forgot it happened. :(

Ah~ but oh-well it's still my favourite none-the-less in the early chapters, I could FEEL their emotions during the entire scene, the confusion and anger in their argument to the fear they both felt when they fell. I also just love Shizuo's comfort he provides Izaya, and the whole "Cat got your tongue", I can totally just see Shizuo's cheeky smile as he says that, glad that they're both okay, or well, as okay as they can be lol.

I also liked the beginning, the first insight to Izaya's nightmares we all get, god i'm not even up to THOSE parts but, oh, my heart. And oh-no, poor Izaya, so much confusing crap happening all at once for him and now he's being kidnapped! He just can't get a break can he? Hehe~

And now Shizu-chan realizes his feelings fully, lol. I just love how all it took was a mistake in translation from a Russian man for him to realize he's actually contemplating that, and the thought of the flea dying set in and he fully realized how he simply doesn't care, he just wants Izaya to be okay. 3 I also like how he refers back to Tom and what he's told him before as reference to be sure of his feelings.

Ah poor Shizzy, he really chose the wrong person to fall in love with, at least that's what the ends supposed to make people believe, of course Shizzy is wrong about that! But can't blame him with their background, Izaya does seem to only hate him at that last part.

I just love when you switch to Izaya's PoV, it's fun to see how clueless he is in all of this~. Also how it seems that Izaya does seem to actually fear Shizuo a little, of course he has the best reason though, he couldn't run even if he tried this time and with their track record he would expect Shizzy to probably beat him up, I wouldn't go as far as kill though perhaps, he would know that Shizuo isn't a murderer, can't blame him though in this, I like how you write them anyway like this. :)

Ah Shizuo is such a tsudere in this, much denial, I forgot about how much he questions himself in this. Gotta love it though, the sudden weird realization when a character realizes they like the character they hate, a lot of other authors I've read from end up going a little overboard with it but you did it perfectly in this, comical instead of the usual cringe I get subjected to.

I just love all the little scenes in this chapter, how caring Shizuo is towards Izaya in such a short amount of time, the concern Celty shows for Shizuo (and the very tsundere reactions and realizations Shizuo has), the umbrella incident, and just how adamant Shizuo is about the flea being okay, it's just so cute!

I honestly love the last part to death though, with Shizuo caring for the flea secretly, taking him to bed and all. I just love the last lines though, Shizuo isn't freaking out in the end and just has to hopelessly ask himself what he's doing, I just love how you convey their emotions. :)

I feel kinda bad, I've read this twice before and now I'm reading this for a third time and I never reviewed on any of this! Not once! And even though this fanfic is older now compared to your others I gonna comment on it! It's because of your fanfics that I actually got into this fandom in the first place and I'm absolutely delighted to have seen your growth in writing. :)

Gotta say, I really like how you've written Shizuo and Izaya, and while I can get a little annoyed at the random PoV switches when they happen in one chapter, I love the way you do them just right even back then, it always seemed to add a little charm to your writing.

I also love how you deal with Shizuo's internal conflict of being called a Monster constantly and being feared all the time, I always felt empathetic towards him for that. And the fact that Izaya doesn't fear him or think of him to be an actual monster is sweet, kinda funny how Shizuo had to stalk him to find that out about him.

Random thing but I always liked how you referred to cigarettes as "cancer sticks", it's just funny to me.

Gotta love the parts after Shizuo over hears Izaya say that, it really did affect him huh? Also felt bad when Shizuo asked Tom-san about being scary, literally everyone is scared of him, friend or not, only Izaya isn't.
