While some of the emotional descriptions were a bit on the nose, this is one of the most moving fics I've ever read. I love 9/Rose, and this touched on a very serious real life subject. All in all, I really like this. Favorite-ed!

I don't normally review because I am terrible with words. However, I had to tell you that the line the Doctor said at the end, about everyone being broken but she is the best version of broken he's ever found. That one line made me cry. It was absolutely perfect.

I am so glad the Doctor could heal Rose's physical issues, but her mental ones will be much harder to fix. It is a good thing the Doctor was able to tell Jackie exactly what happened to Rose. The Doctor knows how much it is going to hurt Rose to talk about her feelings, but in the end it will help her heal. That was such an emotional scene where the Doctor assures Rose that she is a good person with so many wonderful traits. I was totally cheering when the Doctor tells Rose how he feels about her and kisses her. Thanks for sharing this great story with us!

What a powerful chapter. The Doctor has finally found out what is wrong with Rose, but hopefully he isn't too late. Rose's pain is so deep seated and that parasite really did a number on her. Good thing the TARDIS alerted the Doctor or he wouldn't stand a chance of saving her life. What a tense cliffhanger.

Poor baby! I feel so bad for Rose and all her inner turmoil. It is the worse kind. And poor Doctor. He's a saint and a much better man than he gives himself credit for.

I wonder what could have changed Rose so much? Perhaps the red dust enhances the fears? Maybe Rose had a fear of the Doctor leaving her and Her mother not caring and the red dust made the fears seem more realistic? After all the Doctor only had a little on him and has a Time Lord mind, so it wouldn't have affected him... Perhaps?

Rose is so very paranoid and in so much emotional, and physical, pain. Jackie is doing her best to help Rose but she can only do so much, especially when Rose is in no condition to believe that she cares. The Doctor is in a lose-lose situation where Rose is concerned right now. There is no way she thinks her emotions are being manipulated and if the Doctor rejects her, or he takes what she is willing to give, he is in trouble. It is actually a good thing the Doctor put Rose back to sleep as Jackie is in the next room! I hope he can start making some headway on Rose's issues and soon, for both their sakes.

Poor Rose :( She's so use to being left behind and its no wonder with the way Jackie is acting. Not letting you see the emotional damage does not equate to being "tough" Jackie! She's barely just an adult; going to a bar and getting drunk (so drunk she has to be cut off by the bartender) should no be a normal coping mechanism. It's so wonder she ran off with the Doctor!

The Doctor is way out of his depth with Rose right now. He really doesn't know what to do other than try to treat her as kindly as possible. He could use Jackie's help right now. So now the Doctor knows how desperately Rose fears being left behind. I was hoping the Doctor would have told Jackie a little more about the way Rose has been acting. He really needs all the help he can get right now. At least the Doctor and Jackie didn't have a knock down drag out fight over Rose. They both love her very much.
