I agree with you that its not Padmé's job to redeem Anakin. While not all of the reasons for his fall were his, Padmé's, The Jedi, Palpatine or Obi-Wan's fault, in the end it was his decision to turn to the dark side. He has to be will to save himself and admit he might need help before there is a chance of him being redeemed.

Great couple of chapters, good on Leia keeping Luke focused and cutting through all the conflicting and irrelevant emotions he was feeling when finding out about Vader and their relation, especially when he started to doubt the man who has been their father to them all their lives.
