So if time proved her correct in her assumption he was what he was, even tho she was supposedly his friend at the time as well. SHE did indeed reject him, no matter how you look at it.

I can't read on.. I hoped you would provide a better reason for Edward to turn over a new leaf like he did or that he and Bella just was assholes to each other..

But to keep the same reason he came up with as a teenager, and he is now a 28 year old man it's completely utterly inexcusable.

FOR TEN YEARS. I'd be ok with 5.. BUT 10? For her unawarelly rejecting him? Makes no sense.

And then, if she liked Edward? Why did she go to prom with mike? Or accept it.

Why is their a carbon copy of her edward? If what's happening is what I THINK it is... I probably should stop reading..

I'm intrigued but think the situation is beyond pathetic.

If he has liked Bella since highschool and now is this confident man... Why has he waited so long and for a CHANCE occurrence to make a move on her again? I get she probably is a bitch to him but still... Not put himself out there again is just infuriating to read.

Ha! Just hit next and there she was conversing with Charlie. Good. I really liked the part when Edward and he were talking and he reminded Edward of when he was a young boy, in his little suit, coming to ask for Bella's hand. How flippin' cute! I really liked his proposal and her exuberant YES! Very good last chapter. Very much loved how all of you wrote such a wonderful story. I am hoping that in Esme referring to her cousin, she meant Renée. That would be a lovely twist of fate, to have brought them together. I think that is why the two of them felt so very close to one another instantly. They knew, deep down, they were family. I really loved the determination in Carlisle and his asking her out. As well as her insistence in going with him back into the danger zone, as his interpreter. Ephraim was supremely kind to everyone. Opening his store and his heart to all of them from the buses. What an interesting take on Edward's photos that Bella had. How she took them as perverted and marked him up into a category. All the while, he was fighting his anger over exposing himself that way. That was fascinating actually. I am really glad they talked it through. That she now realizes he was expressing something far different than she perceived. I really liked that they made it back to safety and that her head is no longer dizzy. I liked that they've said their ILY's, even this soon. Expressing their love with closeness and comfort. I hope she reaches her father soon, to alleviate his worries.

Wow, even though that title was right there staring me in the face, I did not expect this. I am so glad they are all okay so far. I liked Carlisle discovering that his life of traveling may be nearing its end in favor of spending more time with his son, that he just nearly lost, may be in order. It was a nice surprise with Esme too. Seems there may be some sparks beginning. I still wonder if Bella never saw those photos, that maybe Mike found them later and tossed them? With his full disclosure of how he felt and still feels about her, I loved that she did not push him away. I know that with their lives in danger I should not be wondering this but, have they lost all of their work in these earthquakes? The interviews and photos? They must have, as they were in the lobby of the hotel when they got hurt. Then they took the truck ride to where his dad was helping people.

Did she never look at the photos of Edward asking her to prom at all? Or, it that the reason for her hatred of him? I feel sorry for Edward. Unfortunately, he waited too long to ask her. Mike swooped right in there. I am glad they are in the same field and both highly respected. Maybe when he manages to woo her, they can tour the world together to events such as this one.
