katiejeanrose chapter 4 . 1/26/2019 Lovely story! |
CompletelyDone chapter 4 . 1/21/2019 THANK YOU. I am in tears as I've been reading this fic; it's so relatable to life in your 20s (which barely anyone writes about, by the way). I am so excited for the next chapter and those to come! |
bright places chapter 4 . 1/20/2019 Lovely chapter |
sas479 chapter 4 . 1/19/2019 So happy you’re back! It’s really refreshing to read a story where Scorpius and Rose are a little older and more mature. It was so nice to see them work things out and have Rose bring him back into her life wile still keeping that balance and explore other relationships. |
Guest chapter 4 . 1/17/2019 Wow, I love this story! Happy you’re back, thank you! |
Connected-by-a-Semicolon chapter 4 . 1/17/2019 I love your fic so much. Rose’s emotions are so real, and it’s so easy to identify and empathize with her. No matter how sensitive we are as people, we will, more often than not, think about ourselves more. Your Rose is very obviously a kind person, but she’s very insecure, so she unintentionally isolates herself and thinks that other people don’t appreciate her when they very much do. Of course she doesn’t see that Scorpius could feel left out as the non-Weasley in their trio, because she admires his confidence so much. I’m happy that she finally told him how she felt and realized that it’s not unique to her. While I’m eager for a romance between them to bloom, I’m really appreciating right now how you’re building up their relationship as friends first. I hope you continue to update this fic! |
Lovely chapter 4 . 1/16/2019 Lovely! Rose growing is a lovely thing to read, and you've written it lovely! |
nobodysperfect2133 chapter 4 . 1/16/2019 I think this is your best chapter yet in this story. Rose is finally being honest with her friends and herself, and learning more in the process. I particularly liked your "small" moments - the reference to things like making tea and how Rose's nerves made her mug wobble when putting it down, the gender-related standards with cursing etc. It makes me as a reader picture the scene in greater detail and I thank you for that. I look forward to seeing how Rose now handles her relationship with Scorpius and new friends in the future. I hope you write the Weasley Wednesday dinner - I am sure a few family members will assume Scorpius is indeed the "boyfriend" which could be fun! |
Guest chapter 3 . 6/13/2018 Awwwww, Scorpius! Dang. I hope to read more of this story, Rose has quite a few things to figure out! Enjoying the read, thanks :) |
Guest chapter 2 . 6/13/2018 Oh man! All the emotions! Interesting to see Rose wrestle so hard. Can't wait to read how it blows up in her face! |
Guest chapter 1 . 6/13/2018 Just stumbled on your story here. LOVE it! Fantastic set-up and I'm digging this characterization of Rose. Excited to see how she develops. :) |
Guest chapter 1 . 5/3/2018 Welcome back, I’m so happy that you’ve updated again! ( and now I’m patiently waiting for you to maybe ( hopefully update your labyrinth story ) |
snarkophagus chapter 3 . 4/28/2018 Hey. I know a thing or two about realizing that the friends you consider your life don't really consider you as the same, and about the subsequent insecurities about your own self worth that follow. You asked for thoughts, so I would like to see Rose grow into herself. Scorpius and Al are both good friends, but I feel like she needs to find out who she is without anyone else influencing her personality. I think she needs to figure out what makes her happy. Introspection is a wonderful thing in this world. I kind of want her to make new friends, learn how to socialize with different people, while slowly working on making Al and Scorpius a part of her life again, but in a healthy way this time that does not provoke insecurities or influence her entire life so completely. Anyway, yeah. Thank you for writing this story, it's incredibly well written, and I would really like to know what happens next! Keep doing you, man. x *finger guns* |
nobodysperfect2133 chapter 3 . 4/28/2018 Oh Rose! She has such good intentions and really wants to increase her level of independence, but I have to agree with Lily - she won’t be able to do so unless she is honest with her friends and herself. No wonder Scorpius is “freaking out” (love how you wrote Al this chapter by the way!) as her actions would be difficult to understand. A close friend one day...and no interaction for two months! Scorpius must be wondering what he has done wrong. On another note, did Ron actually ask Rose about her non-existent boyfriend? Being a Wesley, I assume he couldn’t help himself! |
