Is this a retell of a Book by the name Forever My Girl ?

Omg I absolutely loved this story, seriously my jaw is sore from the smile I’ve had the whole time reading it. You really are very talented.

This was really amazing.
I was hesitant a little to start it but once I did I couldn't stop reading it.
I loved pretty much everything about it. It also reminded me of a few other stories with grown up kid, childhood sweethearts, Damon as a musician Elena writing songs too etc. But I like your version much better.

I think you handled it well, starting with adding just enough details about the past but not going into flashback after flashback because that gets annoying really fast in AH stories.
I also liked how you made it clear neither Damon or Elena could get over each other through the years and their hook ups only made them miserable. I think it's very IC and better than adding stupid drama by adding 3rd characters here when there's plenty to deal with. And it felt like their love was true love from the start. They were meant to be even though it took them a longer road to find each other again.

I loved Damon and Chris building their relationship. I enjoyed reading it and it felt natural. It made me emotional how far they've developed from the start when he threw the bottle at his car to this last chapter.

My favorite part of course is how you wrote rebuilding of DE relationship, Elena's healing and Damon's redemtion. I have to admit I was pissed at Damon at the start like Elena and Chris were (I know it's not just his fault but I was still angry at him bc he was so easily influenced and never once returned home) but I was starting to love him along with them and eventually forgave him too.
What I liked the most is how these topics were dealt in mature way. Elena's fear especially. She had every right to feel it and Damon had to go through all this and work hard for it or else it wouldn't be worth it or believable. Ther was just enough romance, angst, sadness, happiness, etc.

I really had no complains lmao and I'm surprised bc usually with these types of stories even with 25-30 chapters something always bothers me but this was longer and done so well. Good job.

This story is so Amazing! It has this touch to reality which makes it even better.. By far this is one of the best stories I've come across and I'm glad it was about Delena. They were just cute and so in love. It has all the emotions hitting just right and it's so easy for kids to blame parents but to see what our parents feel is what I saw through this story. Thanks for sharing this with us. Keep on writing such amazing fics abd especially about Delena.

Tears... I just wish we could have had a peek into Damon and Elena together through the pregnancy and birth. He missed the first one. And I was hoping there would be more than one. But, it was very sweet! I'm sure they will have grandchildren before Lizzy grows up!

Good! They finally all get to be happy. And Elena finally gets to live like she deserves to. I was wondering when someone with Damon's fame and fortune would have his family living in a home suited for it. To splurge on Elena. She's been living on such a restricted budget for do long. She deserves a to live in the PSP of luxury. And I wish Christmas was in this chapter. And a (To bad"Katherine" EOV reference was unsalvageable! lol)
Maybe the Epilogue will show Elena Salvatore. And Christian having a sibling or siblings? Maybe Care &Stef have another to? That would be cute.

We are so close to the end, and there are so many lose ends. It looks like Pastor Young may be changing his tight grip. Advice from all that had suffered from a young girl, that was held to tight seems to have made an impact.
I love the bigger house idea. Maybe Damon can get one more blessing from Grayson? And maybe they will need the extra rooms of that home?

Busy busy chapter! I'm glad the kids are okay. And I was not shocked that April was hurt worse, the passenger usually is. In those old cars that seat is called "the death seat" for a reason. Pastor Young blowing up on Damon. Grayson coming to his defense. Looks like now is the point where it all smoothes out.
