I like what you have going on here. It's a pretty interesting AU. I like how there's no real bad guy here. Both parties think the other's are monsters and they're both acting out of fear, making the line between 'good' and 'evil' blurred. I feel for both sides and wish there could be some better communication between the two so things can get better.

I like your writing the how descriptive and vivid you are. You're telling everyone's feelings and emotions perfectly and in a way that makes them relatable. The chapters are also nice and long which is always a good feature in fics. I'm sad to see this hasn't updated for a while because I would really like to continue with it. I hope you'll return to this someday so everyone can experience this beauty.

This is a very interesting story. I absolutely love how the POV change highlights the differences between them. It broke my heart knowing the pain that Lukas was going through and the part where Matthias was breaking his fingers messed me up! The magic component is interesting and explains the "emotionless" culture well. The way Matthias' people react to it seems reasonable as well.

I didn't read the older version, but I think you and Nimphy-Ryuu-Chan are doing a great job together! The details are beautifully done and the pace of the story is pretty good.
