There could have been more detail, but decent story overall.

You took the challenge in a way that the others did not, which makes your story stand out all the more. I definitely like plot. It was well done, and well thought out.
Some constructive criticism: You have a lot of run on sentences, although I'm the last person to chide you for that, heh. Also, be careful not to have huge blocks of dialogue. Try to break it up a little by adding small details here and there about how someone reacted to a specific phrase, or detail the change in posture of one of the characters.

Overall, not a bad little oneshot. Lucius seemed a bit over the top, but I liked Narcissa's spine. Mostly though I am curious about what happens at the end. For a one shot, it was very much a clifthanger.
