He doesn't have to answer, because he knows Luffy has a similar awareness, an unconscious understanding of any one of his nakama at any time. The scarred boy tips a wide smile at him for a fleeting moment- full of a familiar something that means close to always in a way neither of them would know how to say out loud- before he walks up to start a fight.

"If I free you, join my crew!"

And Zoro walks beside him.'

I really really really really really love your One Piece drabbles they make me so happy and so sad and so touched all at the same time, and I love how you emphasize their family relationship and how much they care for each other cos the manga and anime never get into it the way I want and your stories are just wonderful

I also really love your focus on the relationship between Sanji and Luffy cos it seems no one ever really does that and it makes me so happy

so thank you for writing wonderful fics like these and please please please write some more in the future because you are an amazing author and your stories make me feel like I found the best treasure in the world
