I think it would be a good pairing of you did a love tirangle with Rikimaro and Black Rabit and Izoyoi. Like Black Rabbit begins to develop feelings for Rikimaro and Izoyoi starts to get jealous of it. Just a thought.

I love this story so far. Also since to vote i need to login but i cant so i actually want Yui,You and Letichia to end up with Rikimaro (Mostly Yui) but i dont want Black Rabbit to end up with him cause IzayoixKurousagi is my favorite paring. Also since if you're going to make Yui make him fall in love with you should let her go into lettle garden and her power could be the opposite saying rikimaro can use shadows while Yui uses light. But so far if you continue this story has potential in it.

You should make it a love triangle between izayoi black rabbit and rikimaro but have black rabbit and izayoi at the end (just cause i love that ship) and have riki (rikimaro) pair up with you or pest or someone.

I have to admit, you have a very good story here.

While the power isn't truly unique, it has its own twist to make it powerful. I'm guessing nocturnal animals also include any nocturnal mythical beasts as well like say...werewolf? If so, there is some great customization there, or possible some new nocturnal monsters coming to light? (PUN XD)

Pun aside, that is an interesting plot twist with Rikimaro being related to such a high ranking Demon Lord, along with the related possibly being the one who stole the name and crest. Could throw in another plot twist where Vlad only assaulted the community to get them to summon more people with of course the possibility of summoning Rikimaro. So many possibilities.

Regardless, the story will get interesting with so many females going after the slightly clueless and respectful Rikimaro. Maybe even the possibility of Yui coming to the [no name] community with the gift of the complete opposite of Rikimaro's or maybe something that can tag-team with his shadow powers. I just hope he doesn't break too many hearts.

As for your question in the AN on this chapter, I put my vote in for...drumroll please...Kuro Usagi. I've seen the entire anime OVA and i just feel sorry for Kuro Usagi. Shes a nice girl (doe?) and she just feels wasted on Izayoi. It also feels too random in the anime between the two. One minute she is beating the crap out of Izayoi with her fan, the next shes almost worshiping him cause of his power, and the next blushing at some random comment he made. Honestly Izayoi would be better with someone like pest or an OC or even Shiroyasha! (Izayoixshiroyasha for the lolz!)

If your making it into a small harem, or want my top 5 or who i like for the pairing, it would be...
1. Kuro Usagi. I just honestly like the potential that comes with dating the "noble of little garden)
2. You Kasukabe. The powers mesh slightly with the similar powers and there could be some great combinations if your inventive enough. Also, i like her calm and kind attitude and think it would mesh well with Rikimaro.
3. Leticia. Calm, Collected but powerful. A vampire which mesh's well with Rikimaro's tendency towards darkness and the night. Also, possibility of bonding over the kitchen. Rikimaro teach's Leticia to cook like he does and grows closer.
4. Shiroyasha. While I think it would be funny for her to be with Izayoi due to their fondness for putting Kuro Usagi in compromising conditions, I feel she would also do well with Rikimaro. Both act similarly and both care for the [no name] community. Rikimaro has the potential to match her in power if he trains enough, and although he is respectful, they're both open perverts.
5. Pest, A.K.A Black Percher. While an odd pairing it doesn't seem too far off. Pest is the embodiment of the despair of the black plague. Both have had hard lives due to their dark personalities. Possibility of bonding over nightmares of bad times in the past?
runners up: 6. OC/yui. 7. Riri.(kawaii) 8. Asuka.(I personally don't think they mesh properly.

One last thing, I feel bad for all the children being forced to work like they do. I've always had a fondness for helping the children out and I feel it would be interesting to get an OC to join the community that is based on helping the lives of the community instead of being a super powered bad-ass that lounges around all day. I know there is the maid trio Leticia, Pest, and Shirayuki, but I feel it would be nice to add in someone that can help out on the with the rest of the place, not just cater to the whims of 3 now 4 fighters like they seem to do now. Maybe someone that can control nature to help with the farm or possibly a merchant or two with the ability to help grow some type of prize gift to help out with costs or something like that. Carpenter with the power to grow trees quickly to help with renovations or to sell custom made furniture and stuff like that. I'd say chef but it seems rikimaro has that down flat. Not required but an interesting idea.
