I do hope you have a plan to show the reader that Inferno, the viewpoint character for most of the story so far, has not died and been replaced with a 'cooler' doppelgänger, because that's the vibe I get from the last couple chapters.

Or is this a thing from one of the source works? Because I still haven't read a word of either of them. And besides, an idea like that still deserves to be done justice.
