I know this was done years ago, and you'll probably never read this, but I thought this was a fun read! You novelized it pretty well, adapting and shortening certain parts for better literary flow. You also changed up the interaction with Yang/Barbara, since Barbara's character in the short was almost polar opposite of Yang. The ship also seems a bit odd, but considering the grounds for writing this story as an adaption or parody of the RT original short, I say it works well enough. The justification works fine for this odd situation; I couldn't figure anything better at least.

At least Barbara's and Miles's characters have better luck at the game then themselves! Super cute little story. I have to seriously gush though at the Final Fantasy X ref

I enjoyed this. It was a good mash up of the RT short and RWBY. There were a few spelling and grammar errors (Jaune apparently doesn't know how to blink) but it wasn't enough to take away from the story. I know they haven't really interacted in the show much, but the thought of these two together interests me. The awkward boy and the hot outgoing girl: what's not to love?

Oh, I also thoroughly enjoyed the little references to Final Fantasy X and Kingdom Hearts that you slipped in.

That was awesome! The shorts on roosterteeth are always good and I really liked this one!
