In saying that though, I'd chose the Joker over a circus clown any day. Possibly due to the fun I'd have with him - I like explosions, see.

This is poetry, absaloutly fabulous. The chapter was long, but every second was interesting, something I find impossible to do . What a feat in writing. Literally unreal. This is my favourite bit, it's like poetry...
Therefore, when she decided to turn in early after a night on the town with some of her girl friends, she should have taken the cab like her friends advised. But she wanted the fresh air, you see. But her apartment was only four blocks away, you see.

But there was a van, you see.

And there were orders, and there was an opportunity.

Vanessa did not even have a moment to panic before the van was beside her, a man was beside her, a needle was inside her, and the darkness was coming at her.

Actually, this is one of my favorite chapters so far.

The thought of the Joker 'negotiating' with Vanessa is more frightening on a certain level than the thought of most of the non-con situations you find in fanfics. While the one is ugly with force or the threat of force; the other is what I call 'subtly evil'...i.e., I am going to do things to you that you don't want and will never truly want; however, when I am done you will hate the fact that you may have enjoyed part of it.

He's being awfully nice and accommodating here, and in all honesty I don't really know if I trust it. But hey, maybe it's just cause Vanessa's a smart, tough little cookie who surprised him. Either way, I'm impressed.

Your writing style is very good. I'm still not sure what I think about the whole forced sex situation, but I keep coming back to read so maybe I'm a hypocrite. And I supose the negociating makes it less extreme. Anyway, the character interaction is great to read and thank you for updating. :) x

This is getting really interesting. (not that it wasn't before) I've never really considered The Joker to be the type of person to take advantage of a woman, but then again, if it thrills him, I think he'd probably do anything. I'm not 100% convinced still, but I understand he hasn't technically done anything yet. Anyway, I like your style of writing and am interested in where this is going to go. So I'm just going to be honest here and say that OC stories are not usually my cup of tea, but this particular story was absolutely amazing. I love how you made Vanessa's reactions and choices extremely realistic, while steering away from the Mary Sue trap some OCs fall into. I also loved how you made the Joker the Joker and didn't try and make him all sweet and nice. Some people kind of reimagine the characters, which is good and everything, but when you start making the joker all cuddly and sweet and non-insane, that's when you start bridging OOC territory. WHICH YOU DIDN'T DO, so props for you :D
