Erm... is it just me... or the knives were meant for Nagisa? Because it said that Rei shielded him and turned him around do Rei took the blow... So that means... Nagisa was target? But why? Need to read more ASAP! :D

Hi! Just wanted to let you know that this story is marvellous (I simply ADORE arranged marriage plots, let alone one with my favorite pairing in Free!). I read it before, and it came to my mind randomly this week so I found it in my favorites and read it all over again. It's a beautiful and creative story, as is The Window. I think it's such a talent, to get two characters that have very well outlined personalities in canon, and transform them minimally to suit the plot, just enough so we can perceive it, and just too little that it does not make them un-canon-like. Like for instance Nitori being a liiiittle more forward, and everyone's polite speech... anyways, I liked the story just as much as the first time I read it. I'll probably have to re-read The Window, too, now. See what you've done? Hahaha. Thanks for writing - you have a wonderful narrative, and your stories stick.

beautiful story. I loved then plot and the extra was just amezing. Loved the Rintori part and I most say i wish there was more. The part where they went on they date and Nagisa went to his old home to show Rin to his mom and dad had me in tears, it was truely beautiful written.

I remember when I started reading your stories. I was in the mood for some Reigisa so I used filters and I found The Window, the butterfly and the maple tree. And I haven't looked back since. I love all your work, it's all just...gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
This was truly a cute way to finish this story. All good things must come to an end. and so must all superdoopertruleyfudgetasticamazing things which is what this is. I have such a soft spot for snuggling. I LOVE SNUGGLING! So cute.
