I like it. It's simple, short, bittersweet, and fades open in a way that's just perfect.

The first part feels slightly too melodramatic. I can't really identify with the thinking that his popsicle understands him, but comparison of them both waiting to die works well.

The second part is really effective. The clipped observations are nice here; it's like the scene rebuilds the floor for both the character and the reader.

Interesting drabble. I like how you transitioned from Roxas to Ven so smoothly, and it was interesting to see Roxas portrayed first rather than Ventus.
