I think Olaf is there only smart so far in this story. And he is gay in love with Marsh kinda cool I think.
In the USA you call the police and they can trace the number. But of course why would she call the police? See, the gay dog is the only smart one.
Shouldn't writers use logic in a story? Author-san, I would suggest maybe a beta reader if you find one. They can help with many things including looking over a story to make sure it makes sense. There is no threat to anything and Elsa has no family, just one friend, so its seems unlikely that she would not alert the police unless she is being portrayed as a stupid person, but that's not how you have written her so far. Just something that may help you later on for future stories.

She wanted to wait to tell Herk? That's called entrapment and is work. She's trying to trap him into not leaving the country. Why can't she be honest with him now?

Why must people thin its so difficult. Elsa is 100% correct, what is more important, your inheritance or love. It is one or the other in real life. If they worry about their inheritance more than someone they say they love, it is BS. They just love that person more than money. it is very simple. I'd rather work in a burger joint than inherit a company if I found someone I loved that much. Money cannot buy happiness. I can hear the sneering now, but I am right.

This was a great story. I had a great time reading it.

maybe you could write a chapter like 3yrs into the future and anna and elsa got married and anna is pregnant and meg and herk are having percys 3rd birthday but this story is amazing and it had the perfect ending if u ask me

At times it was a little difficult to read and I needed to re-read sections to see what you meant but I can forgive you easily as the story that you wrote was fantastic and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.

It may be an idea to get a beta-reader who can edit your stories to be somewhat more grammatically correct for the future.

If you do plan to write an epilogue, I'll of course read and enjoy it and I look forward to reading more of your wonderful work.
