Awe... i love happy endings!
The way you brought them to slowly taste the ground
before goin' to "dangerous territory" was a really good job.

Hope this won't be the last though!
This nearly screams for a Sequel!

And yeah, another story where Lil must have the courage to say it- great.

Though i have to admit that i liked the last part of the last chapter (chapter five)
a bit better.
Because there you had perfectly picture
these heartwrenchin', "Just in reach but out of it-" Moments
we knew from the show.
I simply loved that scene (like i said in my last review.)

So, maybe a bit more chapters the next time with more of these?

Awwwwww, yay! Gotta love the happily ever after. I like how you reflect Lilly's thought process; for all her smarts as a detective, she's really clueless when it comes to her own stuff, but when she looks at it, as she does so well here, she figures it out. :)

I love the tension you create in the last scene, where she's asking him, and then when he still can't say it, she steps in and tells him first! It's so great! Nice job on this one; I enjoyed it!

Awwwww! I love this last scene! I can really feel for him and how scared he is to tell her how he really feels. She's a detective; bet she figures it out. :)

Though i have to say that i was a little irritated about the beginning of this one.
It seemed as if you're rushin' through the plot. (can't describe it otherwise)
I know it's a bit difficult to stay patient with the end myself,
but the readers always liked to know in detail and without hastiness.

You came back to that in the last part, the conversation of Lil and Scotty.
It was so nice to see them at the patio, nearly watch them as in the good old
days of the show.

And awe, my heart stops beating when he nearly nearly told her that he loved her!
Good god, Lil, open your eyes, LOOK what's right in front of you, open your heart and LISTEN!
was what i wanted to shout at her!
Simply beautiful.
So touching.
And that Scotty at least steps aside is so totally "in-character", it is nice to see that
you're an author who understands this personality and his inner demons, as well as oucellogal
or little dark for example. Very good job so far!

So, for the next, a little slower at the start, please,
and a lot more of these little, heartwrenchin' things
between the two of them, please!

Wow, I love what you did with Frankie's ominous little throwaway line about him making a mistake. I thought it seemed creepy at the time and wondered if we'd see anything more from it, so I'm glad you went down that road! Nice job!

I love the glimpse of Scotty's family that we get, especially the little details like the pictures and Ramiro's eyes.

Like i said before- i am definatly sorry for
takin so long to review! Can't say it quite enough though ;)

The third chapter was a little hasty but while readin this one i came to an understandin of that matter.

I agree with Lil- Elissa was the only right one for Scotty (except herself though i think it will be some time until she'll realize that in your story,won't it?!)
I absolutley love the last part with the "don't act like a baby when you don't want to be treated like one"-thing!
Cool! And typical Lil and Scotty ;)
The line with "The girl or the kidnappin thing"
was priceless,too.
I like this fourth chapter a lot, it's better than the last one because you took time to describe everything. But the "Franky got overwhelmed by the fact she did really shoot him" fits for me,too.
I laughed at first because a friend of mine at our german fandom wrote a fic where Scotty was held hostage by another of his Ex'ses,
ADA Alex Thomas. I m glad though that no one got hurt in here! Thanks,it was such a pleasure to read this,please go on asap!

Aha, I was part right - I had this other weird conspiracy theory going on in my strange head, but I'll PM you that part! Loved Lilly's "screw the plan" moment - reminds me of what she and Scotty did in the very last episode of the show. Thank goodness there is no lasting damage for Scotty :)

I have to admit- i love Mike nearly as much as Scotty!
He and Allie are so great together and Emilio... who loven't Emilio.
This is such an intense moment- when Lil told them.
The description of Lilly in the car is so cool and well written!
That she thought about Scottys habit to go through his hair is damn powerful!
And herself wonderin' about herself- so much "in-character"!
Really good stuff, simply good job!
I had a few problems of understandin with the last part...
do they saw a suspect or don't they? I don't get it, sorry.

Exciting story! I'm really enjoying it so far - so much, in fact, that I had to come straight to the second chapter and missed reviewing ch 1. But I really liked your description of Lilly finding the scene of the struggle in Scotty's apartment, and the way you set it up as a flashback. I also enjoyed your set-up of the team, especially the banter between Nick and Kat :) I've got a tiny inkling of a suspect, this person one of the neighbours describes, but... I can't wait to find out!
