I have so many feels! I'm happy you posted this one shot! Because I can't stop picturing Ward and Skye living in the country with 2 kids, a dog and white picket fence. This is such an amazing happy ending and all I ever wanted for them.

So, funny story... when my husband proposed to me, (he was 20 and I was 19 and 4 months pregnant), he got down on one knee to do it. The first words that I instinctively blurted out were, "Get up, you idiot!" I'm so smooth, right? For some reason, your fic reminded me of that moment, and brought out the same warm, fuzzy feels that thinking about it always does.

Excellent job. I loved Ward's interactions with their oldest son, and how you managed to work in all the details of their happiness so that the reader felt fulfilled.

Maybe you should look at extending this series with Ward and Skye coming out of retirement when their cover is blown? Hint, hint, hint, hint.

Wonderful, sexy, loving family beautiful. I love sequels, it's fantastic to see more of their lives. I love to see outtakes & future moments like this when they are happy & together & in love. We need as many Skyeward fics as possible. The Skyeward ship will continue to sail proudly, floating on fics of love, friendship, flirting, non-evil Ward drama & happy endings. We all just have to keep reading, writing & believing in our favorite couple & team. A couple of HYDRAward eps is not going to make us loose faith.
