shadow0night chapter 4 . 6/10 Very well written. I loved how the 3 experienced Musketeers shared their stories with D’Artagnan. I love how you captured the brotherly banter among the friends! |

Guest chapter 4 . 11/1/2015 Beautiful. This was a lovely way to show the depth of their care for their newest friend and to also show the depth of history and experience amongst the rest and make d'art a part of it. Thank you. |
ThomE.Gemcity-06 chapter 4 . 8/4/2015 Whoa. Athos had a different sort of clinging going on, on his part. It might have been actually a good thing that the horse had pinned/anchored Athos down, otherwise, who knows what might of happened if he'd been free in the freezing current. If that did happen, and even if he survived, Aramis and Porthos might never have found him anyways. It is so like them, even in the beginning of their relationship with Athos, to have gone against his orders and go back for him, despite the mission. They would be called the Inseparables if not. That cuddling bit was funny and cute! What an amazing story! You wrote this foursome so skillfully. Your description into each of these frightening incidents is so clear, I could picture every bit of it. Though these chapters were filled with fear and anxiety, I liked how you added humor in the bantering between these men. You are an amazing writer, and I loved this fic! |
ThomE.Gemcity-06 chapter 3 . 8/4/2015 Porthos' situation would be frightening as all hell. Possibly even more so than what d'Artagnan and Aramis went through. The utter blackness and confined-ness would drive you mad long before you starved to death, and falling from the cliff would be scary but then you'd just be swallowed by the sea. Another intense chapter. I don't think I would have been as forgiving as Porthos. Athos had me laughing by the end of this chapter. |
ThomE.Gemcity-06 chapter 2 . 8/4/2015 Your fight-scene was fantastic. I don't know if I would have been able to hold on like that. I am really scared of heights, so I probably would of had a panic attack, passed-out from lack of oxygen and fallen to my death. :) Even if death seemed likely, it was the hope and self-preservation kicking in the helped Aramis hold on. But phew, thankfully Porthos and Athos returned in time! :) |
ThomE.Gemcity-06 chapter 1 . 8/4/2015 What an amazingly and intense written first chapter! If I was in d'Artagnan's place stuck in that gave, in complete darkness with Maurice, I either would have already killed the crazed man or at least knocked him unconscious. If he had done that, he might not've had another near-death experience, but at least he won't have the weight of a cold-blooded murder on his hands, just a self-defense killing. But I guess death hangs heavy on your shoulders no matter the cause. :) Aramis' intro has my interest peeked upon his moment CLINGING. |
McHammy chapter 4 . 3/26/2015 Oh what an amazing story! I loved every chapter, and I think you handled the Porthos/fire chapter very well. The whole thing was extremely well written and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. I can't say enough good things about it. Thanks for posting. x |
