in my opinion Sakura doesn't deserve Yamato. Having a cheating lover is one of the most painful things anyone can ever experience, it's also one of the things you don't understand unless you go through it. Congratulations author-san, you've successfully made me hate Kakashi and Sakura. Here's your award for character assassination. Honto omedetō gozaimasu

This is a really great fic! Lots of angst, really captivating plot. I wish when authors abandoned fics they would post a quick chapter at least highlighting how they pictured the story ending. I usually just try to make up my own ending.

For this fic... I think I’ll go with Sakura dying in childbirth. She chose Kakashi and finally let Yamato go. Kakashi raises his daughter (Sakura Rin) in the Hatake compound. Yamato helps him out when needed and the two have been able to become friends again.

Tsunade steps down as Hokage after they win the war, unable to shoulder the losses in the village and Sakura’s death. She begins traveling again, leaving Shizune as director of the hospital.

Naruto becomes Hokage and Kakashi serves on th advisory council for the village. He raises his daughter as a Shinobi, and though she has unbelievable talent brewing beneath the surface she chooses to only learn enough to protect herself. She instead focuses on medical chakra and at the age of 17 surpasses both her mother and Lady Tsunade as the greatest med nin in the history of the four great nations (Iwa has fallen).

Shikamaru marries a civilian girl whom he has some affection for but everyone knows she holds no candle to Ino in his heart. As calculating as he is he knows that is the most joy he can draw from this life and ino would want him to have something.

When his daughter is born he feels he finally is able to take a deep breath again.

Super disappointed that I started this story only to discover that 3.5 years late it is still not complete.

Hope Sakura makes up her mind, SOON. as for the hiatus, it got me really disappointed. u might consider co- authoring though to keep it going. i couldn't start the re: love child coz it still seems they're stuck in the same dillema and it'd seem to drag on too long already..thanks still hoping for the next chapter to come up. still a wonderful read esp if it gets done .
