Happy to see an update to this! Shame I didn't get to read it when it was first posted but sadly my internet connection is limited to a primitive BlackBerry curve. I can't even access my god damn email...

Anyhow, on toi the review.

I noticed a few small spelling and grammer errors, but other then that it's pretty well! Speaking from experience, most kids coming to a new home usually seem pretty solemn, so coodos on character portrayal. Have you thought of a name for the foster care agency yet? Seeing how they're all in the same home I'd say Aerith and Zack work for a specified agency, like how me and my mother worked for Hope for Youth.

As far as characters go, I am ADORING Kairi right now. I'm sure Yuffie is their solely for comedic relief. I'm hoping to see more Daddy Zack as the story progresses. Hell, maybe include Angeal as a grandfather later on.

The garden scene feels refreshingly new. I can already see the upcoming stormy night with Roxas and Sora huddling together in a corner.

Anyhow, it's great to read one of your works again! I'd love to read your Big Hero 6 story but, unfortunately I failed to see that movie.

Well well well, look who's rejoined the fandom! Awesome to have our best and brightest author back amongst our ranks! So let me begin my review mwuahahaha :)!

For me, the family dynamic you have going on is excellent, the characters and their unique personalities somehow all fit together and mix really well... I don't think any other author on fanfiction could possibly make all of these characters work in one space, yet you do. For example, having Areis and Zack in the kitchen acting as the on looking parents whilst their children argue and test each other in the living room, occasionally dropping in words of parental assent or concern just screams: actual happy family at me; and the idea that Roxas is upstairs unpacking (with Riku showing him around as the acception) demonstrates that Roxas is the outsider to this scene of a happy family. And having Sora be the one who leaves the scene to take Roxas aside, get to actually know him, and then lead him back into the family scene at the end of the chapter really gives this the perfect stopping point for a new chapter.

If you take all of these characters outside of their genres and put them into the modern day (as we do in fanfiction), this is the prime example of how to make one of these characters 'modern', in that Sora and the gang dont have keyblades, they are just acting as a teenage, normal version of themselves would. Now hopefully Kairi sticks to her idea of being with Tidus, because realistically Kairi isnt a slut in the games, and she is a 'hellraiser' in the fact that she is incredibly strong in the games, so hopefully we see more of the strong, young female in Kairi!

Riku is the tall, aloof male of kingdom hearts, and he is here as well, it'll be interesting to see what you do with him, hopefully there to support Sora as always! You get where I'm going with this, but yeah the characters all follow their actual personalities making this story much more pleasing in my eyes, I don't read a few lines and suddenly think 'No, Sora wouldn't do that, that's insane', instead I can happily read this chapter over and over without the jarring effect some authors create.

So Roxas and Sora on top of one another on the floor so soon huh :p? No seriously, I loved that image, having them get so close and personal already sets up perfectly their future relationship, which I imagine will be close and personal, and it breaks all of those tensions and awkward introductions that would ordinarily follow when two people first meet, so excellent idea having those boundaries broken!

What I would love to see next chapter is the continuation of this family situation and how people react to Roxas, and how Roxas uses Sora for support (even though he doesn't really think he'll need it), and further down the line I would love to see Sora use Roxas for support when it comes the their demons and what they must face there. And a Roxas mini POV like you do with Sora would be awesome, that way we can see if Roxas thinks Sora is an 'angelic being' as well :p.

i have to say, i love the flow of this story much more then the original. I'm reading this again, and it soothes me, after what happened today: i'm grateful, and can't wait to see more!
