Really well done! I like the insights into Thranduil - makes him seem, well, more "human" isn't the right term, but you know what I mean. The only thing that bothered me about this chapter was your use of "proudness" when you wrote "The horror soon outweighs the proudness". The word "pride" means the same, and is much more natural to use.

Wonderful story. I enjoyed the relationship dynamics between Thandruil, Legolas, and Ethrieyel (?) I will be following this story just in case there's another installment after this. All the best!

This was a very satisfying end! Now, the elves and the dwarves can finally mend their past relationship. I guess Thranduil was surprised to see his son befriending a dwarf, but it seems that he accepted it since he invited Gimli in.
