LittleRedWritingHood70 chapter 6 . 1/6/2018
Hmmm...and the plot thickens, I need to know what will happen to the baby!
Mastermind4892 chapter 5 . 12/1/2017
Suzaku is many things. He is a boy who is incapable of seeing the world outside of his personal and sadly deluded beliefs. This is one of the many reasons that he does not see the big picture, and he never will. It's a true and tragic shame that Euphemia is just as naive as him. She wanted to make the SAZ work by surrendering her claim to the throne. But the truth is, that she cannot relinquish what she NO LONGER HAS.

Not many Code Geass fans have a complete understanding of how a Britannian dictatorship works with royal politics. Euphemia never had any inkling for such politics, otherwise she would have realized the truth. It's part of sociology studies. In a monarchy with subjugated races, based on Darwinism elitism, Euphemia had ALREADY yet unknowingly forfeited her claim to the throne and all her royal powers the moment she took a Number as her royal knight.

Euphemia no longer HAS any authority as a member of the royal family. Worse, she never even knew it. She was only treated as such by all the guardsman on Cornelia's orders, who also still provided her residence. Euphemia went to get Schneizel's approval because she thought it would make the SAZ easier, but in truth it is because of his sponsership that it even happened. And he only did because he knew it would force Zero to either disarm or be vilified by the people.

But the most interesting part? Aside from his feelings for Euphemia, Suzaku wanted to change Britannia from within, and he knew the aid of a princess would go a long way for it. But Euphemia lost all her authority the moment she invited him. He swore an eternal and unbreakable oath to someone who no longer has the power to change Britannia. It will never happen now.

His dream is now dead in the water, and has bound himself to a sinking ship.
Guest chapter 6 . 10/22/2017
And you left us on such a cliffhanger. More please.
KnighteWolfe chapter 6 . 10/20/2017
I do hope that Suzaku convinces Euphemia to adopt the baby he found. I also hope the childs mother comes forward and tells Euphemia and the others what happened and is able to identify her assailant. That would be poetic justice.

Keep up the work.

OmegaChrome chapter 6 . 6/3/2017
That cliffhanger... I really want to know what happens next, but I guess you're neither on hiatus, or abandoned the story. Ah well, it's still good
Equai chapter 6 . 4/20/2017

DigiXBot chapter 6 . 12/24/2016

Dragonheart Of Ireland chapter 6 . 10/6/2016
Please update!
HeroSeekerFrost chapter 6 . 9/3/2016
Update? :D?
Loved the story! It's great how everything spiraled out of control and I love Schneizy's reaction to finding out Lelouch's identity, and how he found out all at once. Can't wait to see how Lelouch gets out of this one! Oh, and it's interesting how you changed his plan for the SAZ, now Suzaku won't try to kill him for killing Euphemia. And lastly, wonder what Suzaku will do about a certain baby...
Sturnidae chapter 6 . 4/27/2016

charles123 chapter 6 . 4/25/2016
I just found this story and I like it a lot.
I've seen that the last time you've upgraded it was more than a year ago but I still hope that you haven't abandoned this.
marsolino chapter 6 . 3/31/2016
Nooooooo! Terrible cliffhanger. I noticed you haven't updated in a long time. Is this fic abandoned? I hope not, it really is one of the best stories where Lelouch is forced to reveal his identity before canon that WORKS.
