Considering I recently finished Lights in the Sky in 1 binge, this is weird. But I like it!

Geez, James ... maybe knock, or holler, or something like that if you forgot your bag instead of just barging in on friends. Especially if you have a crush on one of them and know that they are together.

And yeah, that was definitely a mood killer! You caught their embarrassment perfectly. It's a situation nobody wants to be in, but I think it was doubly bad for James.

Loving this. You say poor James. I say poor Cortez, lol. He is such a lovable, let's all get along and sing koombaya kind of guy to be caught in the middle of James who is emotional and volatile and Kaidan who knows he kissed his woman. All the whole I'm gleefully yelling fight, fight!

I fully believe that is exactly how Kaidan's temper is when he snaps. He keeps such a tight control on himself that once he finally hits that breaking point, he explodes.

It is always nice to see Shepard breaking down. Not because you want them to suffer but because they feel more real and relatable.

Honestly, if I were Kaidan I'd dump her ass and let them have each other. I don't really buy her bull excuse about the kiss, if she didn't want it she could have stopped it. I really don't like Shepard and James in this story. But the fact you can raise those type of emotions means you're a great writer!

I don't blame Kaidan for walking out. But I just think he should have walked out and not looked back. I have mentioned I gave issues with cheating and stuff though, right?

Really good chapter though. Really good.
