Personally, it made sense a lot for me about him being a... virgin? I mean, he's been so dedicated in devoting his life to Kondou-san ever since he's a young boy of 9 years old, he's been drowning himself in honing his sword skills after that I believe.. Also, judging from his reaction and responses to Chizuru (such as his hands shaking as he held her or kissed her), I keep on thinking that the whole concept of love and woman is.. new and intriguing for him (at least, that's what I thought). That's why I think this plot is good and in-character with Souji! Thanks for your hard work! I enjoyed this one! :D
