| GlassMazeGazer chapter 8 . 1/2 The ZNH opening quote is killer & a perfect way to begin this chapter where the ideas or kinds of love were as important as the physical scene being set. Including the Greek blew me away though! It’s not just a rarity in this fandom, it’s a rarity of modern life in general to come across others who’ve had any (non-sorority/non-fraternity limited) exposure to ancient Greek culture or language & alphabet, particularly in the U.S. It makes me so curious I’m almost tempted to ask where you studied, knowing that it’s a very small number of possible institutions in the States. My Greek was rudimentary to begin with and has become rusted over almost completely from years of disuse, but I enjoyed the challenge of studying it and the many other hard earned intellectual prizes from my time at one of those schools. Thanks for triggering some fond memories! |
