I am hoping that by some miracle you will see this review. You are one of my favorite Dacey authors and based on the 18 Dacey stories you have blessed us with, I understand why you have taken a Dacey hiatus and have embraced the Big Valley series (and the BV readers are lucky to have your stories). That being said, know that your Dacey readers are praying and patiently waiting with fingers crossed that you will finish this great story and/or grace us with another one of your Dacey masterpieces. Once again, I am envious of the Big Valley readers...but I hope and I hope...

I know it has been a year since you updated this fix but I hope you come back to update it soon. It is really good. I want to know if Jack and Whitney succeeds in their quest to kill Danny. Will someone find out their plan and stop them from hurting Danny? Will Danny ever open his heart fully to what God has to offer him? Will Lacey and Danny get their happy ever after? How will Karen respond when she finds out about how evil her husband and step-daughter and that once again she picked a man that is only out to hurt her son?

-_- The fact that a teacher did that to Danny infuriates me even if it was in fiction. Its regularly taught in education childhood development classes that calling out students publicly to humiliate them is badform and can cause severe psychological damage to the child's comfort and confidence in the classroom. Just reading that she publicly read something he wrote to her in confidence just to get back at him riles me up and makes my blood boil. She publicly embarrassed TWO students and for what? She just as easily could have spoken to him privately after class and explained that, that was unacceptable or if she still wanted to embarrasse him she could have spoken to his mother and let her read the essay. Not cool! Lol now that, That rant is out of the way. I love your story! And I too believe in waiting till marriage! Its fabulous to finally find a writer that applies that to their writing.

Goodness its good to have you back! Glad you are doing better and are in high spirits. I will continue to pray for your continued renewed health :) Thanks so much for this update! As I was reading Dannys experiences in church I couldnt help but replay my own vivid memories of my first experiences with God and His awesomeness. Ive done the whole get up and leave during altar call, purposefully not paying attention when a word is convicting me so this was a very nice reminder of where I have been in the past and where I am now. The way you are able to walk us through Dannys journey has been spectacular thus far. You arent rushing this important process he is living daily and i cant explain how thankful i am about that alone. Its real, no sugar coating and I love everything about it. I Love Mrs Gentry! She sort of reminds me of my late Grandma E! Danny will soon understand what it is she was trying to tell him and when he does it will be an amazing step in his life. You can only run for so long Danny :) Now if Whitney and Jack could get lost we would be great lol. Ugh as much as I cant stand them I realize that with 10 steps forward in this sort of arena there is always someone or something looking to push you back 20 steps. And of course I love my Dacey, stronger than ever now. Lacey leading by example and not by pushing Danny into anything! Great Job! Looking forward to the next chapter :)

YAY! You're back! You're BACKKKKKKKKKKK! I thought about you and this story the other day. I adore this story. It's so original and faith based. I really enjoy reading it. I'm sorry to hear that you have had some health issues. I prayed about you as well. I lost a very, very good friend on Friday and I guess I'm a bit sappy lately but I am very happy that you are doing better and this chapter was amazing. Danny is beginning to get this soul stirrings. He's gonna breakdown in tears soon and submit to Christ, I just know it...that is if he lives because oh my Jack and his minxy daughter are always up to no dang good! So happy that you're back!
