I just read this and while I do enjoy this chapter and the first chapter, I don't really like the way you portrayed Ron and Lily potter in your second and third chapter respectively. Ron was an extremely loyal friend who only turned against harry twice. And only one of those times he was completely to blame. The second time he turned against him, he was being influenced by a horcrux. And he didn't even do anything that bad anyway. I mean, he had just heard that his sister was punished by being sent into the forbidden forest with hagrid. Well, nobody seems to remember what happened when harry was sent into the forbidden forest with hagrid. Hagrid certainly was no help with protecting harry, he had them split up and sent his dog with harry. Granted, hagrid wouldn't have separated them that time, but the forbidden forest was still extremely dangerous. Remember the acromantula colony that only refrained from leaving their part of the forest due to the leaders loyalty to hagrid? A loyalty not shown by any other acromantula? Plus Ron said that he wanted to come back immediately but couldn't find them again. This means that even when he left he never intended to truly leave. And as for the third chapter, I don't like that you blamed Lily for snape being who he is. Lily, as you put it, "abandoned" him because she was tired of making excuses for him. He went around calling other people mudbloods and defending other future death eaters whenever they performed dark magic on innocent people. Now, you may say that he couldn't do anything or that he only defended them in public but I'd like to point out the fact that no one was forcing him to hang out with other death eaters. He could have just been neutral and not interacted with anyone else. And I could totally buy the whole defending their actions in public if it weren't for the fact that it was only him and Lily . And he was comparing the marauders pranking to his friends performing dark magic. That's like comparing putting hot sauce in someone's drink to putting arsenic in someone's drink. And defending that arsenic is less dangerous.

A relationship between a mom and son could closer then anything else. Maybe seeing him sad is two hard on her

First in the book Ron never said that that was only in the movie. Second Ron is right weasly are not family. Harry can't bitch about not haveing a family and then say they are his family.

Harry for give hermonie for going behind his back, Ron for give hermonie for attcking him with birds. Hermonie perents forgive her for destroying there memory.

I love this story but this is unfair and sexist to Lily and I'm tired of seeing this on FF. Lily is a woman with agency, blaming her for choosing James and saying it was because it was easier isn't fair. Sev hung out with boys who were very racist and had used racist language before he called Lily a mudblood. I love Sev, but he has some deep faults. I can see why someone may pick the former bully over their best friend if their best friend used that sort of language because it would be seen as a deep betrayal. She had a legitimate reason to be angry with Sev and instead you have twisted into some shallow "she picked the jock instead of the nice guy" thing.

I like how you captured Molly's stifling form of Love that really isn't love. It's control and dominance and suffocation into submission.

Never liked Ron, especially after all the times he betrayed Harry. And he and Hermione would be miserable together. Very happy about the excerpt where the twins like Harry Potter more than their brother by blood, and Malfoy replacing Ron.

Well, this chapter displays the complete opposite of what Ron is. He's not self centred and loyalty was always his strongest trait. His biggest weakness was his feeling that he would never be 'good enough'. and it's true that the twins while they bullied him were often a lot nicer to Harry despite the fact they turned their back on him in first year while Ron stood by Harry. So...I don't like this chapter because it just bashes Ron and makes him out to be a one dimensional jerk who somehow is worse than Malfoy. The boy who liked to call Hermione names, plot to hurt them, relish their possible injury and death, always gloating about what he had, eg money and parents. But somehow, Ron's topped all that. I can't believe that.

SURE! Ron's self-centered! That's why he sacrificed himself on the chessboard and told Harry that HE (Harry) was the important one. That's why he tried to stand on a broken leg and tell Sirius that if he wanted to kill Harry he needed to kill Ron first. Where do I meet a self-centered friend like this? Because I would LOVE one.
