ThorneofAcre chapter 3 . 4/3/2016 Stuff like this. I could read this forever. I'm so glad I found it and even more glad that you wrote it. Dick making an effort to make boring meetings more bearable for Bruce while also being adept at keeping him in the know about what he's missed and generally proving himself worthy of being an excellent heir - this is exactly the kind of stuff I was talking about. I could envision him managing the huge buisness in Bruce's absence while being plagued with doubts about his performance, questioning his decisions, asking himself what Bruce would have done instead and then figuring out even better ways to do things. And then Bruce comes back and what's the dynamic like then? I'm just rambling here in the hopes that something would catch your muses' interest, but I'm honestly happy with just finding this one shot tinked away in this collection of everything I want to see. Thank you. |
Guest chapter 3 . 6/23/2015 Fave, fave, fave. So true abt Dick having taken the watch at all for its sentimental value and not its pricetag, and also that Bruce prefers it on Dick's wrist than his own. No incarnation of Bruce would have accepted the watch back from Dick. And the "least part of his inheritance" - spot-on, genius, heartwarming, so true. Bruce's pride and trust, Wayne Enterprises, the Wayne assets, Gotham City, the Batman name...it is staggering when u think about it. A two-million watch really IS the least part of his inheritance. awesome stuff! |
RedCeleste chapter 6 . 5/21/2015 thanks fr the write! |

robgray1 chapter 6 . 10/12/2014 Glad to see that batgirls still the same bitch sorry to say this she always was never liked the pair up that they were trying to do Dicks a bright intelligent talented character who helped build dc into what is from the 1940s I hate to bring it up but B Gordon does not even come close from where he came from with talent or background and she always takes him down with the remarks unnecessary |
YumeKoe chapter 6 . 5/8/2014 I loved every single one of these! I'll probably read them through again and again whenever I need to smile. Thank you for writing! Also, chapter 3 made me want to read about when Dick gave up being a cop to join WE. I'd love to read your version of that! :) |
ARL15 chapter 6 . 5/7/2014 What is Babs' problem?! One does not simply reject Dick Grayson! Something that I have always liked about Dick and Babs' relationship is how they were friends first. I think that's why I've always preferred them being together (than Dick being with Kori) and you did a great job of showing that friendship. I love how Dick is so open about his emotions compared to the other bats and again that was shown wonderfully in your story. Great story! |
