It seems that Dumbledore has set up a forced marriage between the two of them-how special.

Although if Hermione had been Obliviated by Lockhart, she wouldn't have woken up for years, I expect.

Ok, so Hermione has been kidnapped and sedated (by Muggle means or otherwise) to stay in the country house with Snape. It will be interesting to hear the reason.
