I found this story earlier this week when I was mindlessly going through the fanfic frozen archives and I must stay that I am so freaking thankful I found this story! The plot isn't over the top at all and your character development is outstanding. I love how you wrap things up in the end and include the King and Queen in your story, a very stark difference from the usual fanfic. But overall I think it's the fact that you wrote a Kristelsa fic that makes this one of my favorites! I hope you write more Kristelsa in the future!

Hey there, it took me over 2 weeks but I finally got done with your story. Overall, it's a good spin on the Frozen mythos with Elsa being Kristoff's love interest this time around. I liked how the premise of this story was the whole "assassin falls in love with his target" theme because it always makes for a good redemption story(not that Kristoff was all that evil to begin with in this story).

Admittedly, I feel it stretched credibility a bit for Hans to have overpowered and captured Kristoff that easily in the chapter where he set Kristoff up for a fall in front of Elsa. Kristoff is a pretty big and powerful guy and I imagine Hans is going to have his hands full trying to restrain someone like Kristoff.

What was also unique was how you kept Anna and Elsa's parents alive for your fic. It added an extra layer of political intrigue for them to be prisoners of Hans. And nice job with how you introduced Olaf into this story. He showed a level of cute naivete that I think really made him that much more endearing.

As for Elsa's final showdown with Hans, killing him brutally with her ice powers is something that's been done a lot in fanart and fanfiction but nonetheless, it was still effective nonetheless. Though I felt Hans did seem just a little too cocky and unafraid of being frozen and then smashed to pieces. It's a pretty horrid death and I imagine anyone who's about to undergo that form of execution would be pretty scared. I don't know, I just feel Hans was just a bit too casual and flippant towards his own death. But nonetheless you made him into quite a conniving villain. He's probably even more evil in your story than he was in the movie itself. It helps that he definitely had more "villain" scenes in your tale whereas in the movie he was faking being a nice guy most of the time.

One of my favorite scenes though has to be where Kristoff helps Elsa to gain enough confidence in herself to the point where she finally chooses to stop hiding her secret and decides to go out and admit to her kingdom that she has ice powers. It was touching how Kristoff planted the seed for true love to save Elsa's from her own fears early on in the story.

Finally, I liked how your ending was like a book end for the original Frozen, ending with both Kristoff and Elsa ice skating together and concluding the story in a positive and hopeful note, in direct contrast to how the story began, being dark and foreboding. I'm pretty interested in seeing how your sequel goes, but even if you happen not to write a sequel, this is still a pretty fitting and happy conclusion by itself.

I'm impatient to see more Frozen from you and can I just say what an amazing story this has been. Without a doubt one of my favourites and one that I would recommend to others. And an worthy winner of the Best Kristoff x Elsa fic award.

It's slightly sad to see one of my favourite stories end, but there will be a sequel coming soon so the wait won't be long.

awsome chapter! my favorite disney movie is narnia, and frozen is my favorite DP movie, elsa is my favorite charcter. i am a teenage guy, so i don' generally like DPs, cbut brave, frozen, and tangled are cool, mostly because they are not about trying to find true love. i am glad you are willing to try my fic. :)

I must said I was suprised by Elsa accepting his proposal at the end, her thoughts about not knowing him will lead her to reject. But it was a nice suprise :). Well and now last chapter... hard to imagine it is the end of this journey ;-).
