It can go two ways for me. I know the cliche couple of these fics is usually Arthur and Merlin, and I have to say I still want them as endgame. So either Merlin can choose Arthur fairly quickly and let the whole fic from there be a load of smut and romance with a few 'Lancelot tries to win Merlin' times mixed in.
OR... It can be a very long stretched out to-ing and fro-ing between moments of both Arthur/Merlin and Lancelot/Merlin where maybe Merlin does go out with Lancelot for a bit, but in the end still goes with Arthur. I can't NOT root for Lance too though, I just can't :P
Could I be picky and suggest a bit of Merlin/Mordred in there too, he's adorable/sexy too haha.
