Reviews for Healing Hermione
excessivelyperky chapter 35 . 6/28
Oh, this is beautiful! I love this story, and thank you so much!
excessivelyperky chapter 34 . 6/14
I'm glad Snape trusts Minerva, which is kind of amazing considering she tried to murder him and all that, and enabled the Marauders much earlier. But Hermione's happy, and that's the only thing that counts. Of course, if Snape is attacked, he'll have to deal with it himself with no help from anyone, but we expect that. There is always a different standard when a Slytherin is in trouble.

But of course nothing will ever happen to Hemione and the girls now! Right?

It's nice that Snape is popular and that Albus came up with a hefty bribe in the way of apprenticeships. We'll see how well he delivers. And how soon Minerva becomes his hand puppet again. Here's hoping Aurora doesn't turn the Slytherins against Snape.
excessivelyperky chapter 33 . 5/10
It's great that Minerva is doing so much to reduce the chance of an attack on Hermione.

(too bad that none of this ever got done when Severus was in danger, even as a student; it's nice that he's not thinking of the double standard here).

But I think all four will be better off away from Hogwarts.
excessivelyperky chapter 32 . 5/10
They're going to keep the girls at Hogwarts? How is that going to work out? I guess they mean it that they're going to stay the rest of the year, but I hope no more attacks happen, or all four should leave Hogwarts that instant.

And I can see Harry's point, though none of Molly's hitting ever seemed to be in the books. (and frankly, the twins needed more discipline than they obviously got).

But Minerva should be prepared for Albus to return to take things over as quickly as he dumped them on her. He's that kind of person.

I bet McGonagall finds a real can of worms he left behind, though.
excessivelyperky chapter 31 . 4/4
Very good chapter. Yes, terrible things happen when the veela stop dancing...that one phrase has always made me shiver.

I love the byplay with the girls, both of them are very sweet. And I'm glad Hermione and Severus are married. I am happy that they will have somewhere besides Hogwarts to go, too.
excessivelyperky chapter 30 . 3/9
Dumbledore got them together in hopes of enslaving them both at Hogwarts, or possibly setting them up at targets for the Greater Good. Or both. Let's not forget how eager Dumbledore is to risk the lives of others.

They need to be the hell out of there. All those cards were lovely, but I bet that Dumbledore encouraged them to send them, to keep Snape and Hermione there at Hogwarts.

But David was right. They desperately need to consider their family's needs first.

However, Italy in the 1940's was likely right in the middle of the Grindelwald war, which even purebloods should have been able to notice.

Oh, hello library! They won't be able to get Hermione out of there with a crowbar.

Ah, Dumbledore must have realized that his last set of victims were about to escape his reach. Hence his starring rendition of 'pitiful old man feel sorry for me' with a side of 'oh dear I didn't really *mean* this'. But Minerva's falling for it, too, I see-but it is also not going to take her long to make sure he really does mean it.
excessivelyperky chapter 29 . 2/15
Well-they might finish out the year, and then bail, though I think it would be better for Emily et al if they just plain left.

Besides, Beauxbatons would roll out the welcome mat and the single-malt whiskey for the pair of them. Draco would be delighted to help them both out this way.

And the girls would be *much* safer.
beccasullivanwrites1 chapter 35 . 2/8
What an absolutely lovely story!
excessivelyperky chapter 28 . 10/9/2019
Good chapter. Yes, all four members of the family need to be away from Hogwarts. Far, far away.

And Harry needs to suck it up and let Hermione know that he cares, because she's about done with him.
excessivelyperky chapter 27 . 9/22/2019
At least Harry understands what's going on. I don't think Albus does, or he would realize that both Snape and Hermione have finally reached their limits. Severus will endure much for himself, but he'll protect Hermione more than he would himself.
skyeryder01 chapter 35 . 9/16/2019
Really loved this!
excessivelyperky chapter 26 . 8/27/2019
You would think that Albus would raise the roof over one of his precious Gryffindors being attacked, but I guess she associated with Snape for too long for him to care.

Yes, Hermione and Severus should be gone *soon*, and the girls should probably go to Beauxbatons, rather than Hogwarts, as they will be under threat there and soon without their prospective new parents to protect them.

How many students and teachers have to die before Albus takes student safety seriously?

Well, we know that already, don't we?
excessivelyperky chapter 25 . 8/8/2019
Yes, the two had better be day teachers, or they will be gone teachers. I still don't know why they're still here, frankly.
excessivelyperky chapter 24 . 7/23/2019
Well, I think Hermione and Severus can resolve Poppy Granger's where to live problem. I mean, three places, one in London? Take the money and laugh, I say!

I expect Snape said something good and crisp to Madam Muddlemere!

Why are they still going to teach? They have it so set in their minds that they're under Dumbledore's thumb that they can't think of any other future.

Seriously, if this separation happens once after they're married, they really need to depart rapidly.
Beefuf chapter 35 . 5/29/2019
I really love this story! This is definitely one that I will revisit.
