Well, I must say, this is actually rather well written. I was a little uncertain about starting this story, since I'm not really a fan of gender swapping characters, but so far I'm finding this pretty interesting. I think you're doing very well with the whole nonbinary gender issue you have going with Sena, and while I personally feel that the Sena you have in this story isn't like the canon!Sena at all, I'm still enjoying what you've written thus far. It's a good story. Keep up the good work. :)

Thank you thank you for the update! 8D It was a pleasant start to my day when I saw the notification come through. I've never read an idol!Sena fic so this is like a breath of fresh air haha. I love how it's going so far. u I also like how this Sena is different but in some ways the same as the Sena in canon. C:

Hmmm... Interesting, very interesting. (I know have Kisaragi Attention playing through my head all throughout reading this chapter, "Wow, ikisaki wa doushiyou chotto shifuku ja mazui kana aa, nani mo kamo houri dashi chatta gogo") Sena as a gender fluid idol! Very neat!

Did you know that it's actually more common for Japanese people to say "soccer" rather than "football" in everyday conversations unless they're talking about the official football association? And even then the official team is actually called the Nihon Sakaa Kyoukai. It's because there were so many Americans around after WWII, before then the word shuukyuu (Literally "Kick Ball") was used pretty much exclusively. It's like they only use 'football' if they want to be fancy! XD

Oh! Sena is friends with Agon! Very interesting!... I wonder how in the hell they met.

Go Sena! Show them that you can play Football, their 'advice' be damned.

On to the next chapter, and sorry it won't let me review! Stupid ffnet! They really should ease up on the limitations for reviews, it's ridiculous.

I like it how she loves the photos of herself and how they capture what it means to be her, whether she wants to be 'masculine' or 'feminine' on certain days and wearing nice elaborate outfits. It is a bit popular for certain Idols and Bands in Japan to dress in androgynous ways, I know it definitely probably wouldn't work in America, too many people being insecure about listening/watching anything that seems 'questionable'.

I like it how Sena downplays how she looks, not thinking that anyone will notice who she is because she's 'plain' in person.

Poor Sena, she just wants to be 'normal' for a few hours, but all these fans... Being an Idol must be hard. Oh dear, people will be so over protective of Sena if they find out she's actively SEEKING out Hiruma they'll all get quiet and flinch because holy shit Hiruma runs the show and has fingers in every pot.

I like how Sena hates being called the 'Little Flower of Tokyo' It really does imply an inherit weakness and delicateness to Sena, and we all know that canon Sena, although a gofer who avoids conflict, becomes a really strong Football player in his own right and is in no way 'weak'. With a Sena who actually WANTS to play football, she'll grow even faster then canon Sena.

Mamori as a Linebacker... I'd like to see that! XD

Hmm, Hiruma is taking her out... I wonder where. And hahahaha, Hiruma and his super disguises and pretending to actually be a perfectly nice part of society. XD

So Sena knows a bunch of players, kk. and Agon is an idol/model friend, alright.

Ah, It wasn't a chapter but an Author's Note, kk. And too bad, I guess I'll just have to follow you to see the next incarnation of this story. A genre shift from Romance/Drama to Romance/Comedy then? I did think that Momo made sense though, Sena wouldn't have the same type of problems as the Canon!Sena with bullies, sure ze would probably have bullies but probably not the Ha-Ha Brothers, like in canon who were Canon!Sena's bullies for years. I don't think they'd feel... comfortable bullying your Sena, at least not in the same way as Canon!Sena.

I hope you'll get your rewrite or whatever you plan to do done soon!

Oh! Hiruma is using "them" and "their"! He's being pretty respectful, not calling Sena a he, but also not calling her a she... maybe he doesn't feel comfortable saying she for Sena? I know some people who just go for "they" because they're not sure which pronouns to use and "they" tends to be the safest one! I'm still wondering if Sena will let people call her 'he' on certain days. Maybe the next chapter will show me! It could be a pants day.

On to the next chapter!

Sena is starting to worry me with her worrying because of Momo... and people. Is Sena a bit of a Social Phobic? Maybe a bit Anthropophobic, or maybe Sociophobic? It just she's acting REALLY nervous and it seems like she may have some irrational fear at the moment.

Ah, Momo was just trying to 'fix' Sena, I get it now. and now that she can't have Sena be the way she wants she doesn't like her anymore.

And the faithful meeting between the Demon and the future third incarnation of the Eyeshield (At least I think Sena was the third, but who knows if there was another one before the 'real' Eyeshield)
