I have read your story and i must say it is too much fluff, but that is maybe only me. I kind of can't believe that they would got so scared over Yugi getting lost in forest. They have survived much more scarier things than this where lifes of them all, where the world was on stake. So i don't believe they would make such big fuss over something like that. I think that is about it.

This story was freaking adorable. I loved how they acted, how well you got across their bond, in exactly the way Puzzleshipping is supposed to be. Most fics barely scratch the surface, just describing it as a 'yami and hikari' bond, but you take it further. Yes, byou occasionally use those terms, but unlike the majority, you mention that Yuugi is pretty much Yami's literal reason to exist and has been since the start, his instincts to always protect Yuugi in season 0, his terror at not being able to hear him, and just... Everything. The way you described their bond was perfect.

And THANK GODS you didn't make anyone OOC! You kept Joey's dub accent while still making his speech legible, which is a rare jewel, Tristan exists and is in character, Yami's spot on, Téa's the good friend to everyone that she is in canon rather than being ruthlessly bashed, and Yuugi isn't super innocent and crying every two seconds (His reason for crying in the forest is VERY reasonable, I mean come on, he could have DIED, he was all alone and the mindlink was cut off.)
