A bit overwhelming for a 11 year old

I just thought of 2 things,

one: you can drink a drink, but not food a food,

two: hiccup lost a lot of bit things in his life,

1st film, his leg
2nd film, his dad
3rd film, toothless

They swore back then? Like.. yeah they must’ve had some offensive words but idk bout “s” word

(I don’t swear, that’s why I didn’t write it, just “s”)

Poor hiccup.

I wonder if they took his leg away after he tried to escape..

because then he wouldn’t be able to run away, just hobble and fall over with nothing to hold onto (trust me, it sucks not being able to walk with one leg ._.)

If your confused, I’ll explain:

fire, cars, , coma? eh, hospital, waking up, sits up, falls over, notices part of ones leg is cold and hard, looks down, metal clinging onto me says “welp, you need me to stand, live with it”

Sorry, but the kind of abuse you had Hiccup endure does not go away. There are no happy endings when someone has been this abused and traumatized.

Yes, the language thing was something I rather liked about book Hiccup.
This situation reminds me of book seven.

This story was very sad. Hiccup was raped so much... ...and it was horrible that he couldn't recognize that even the times where he did not give consent were rape, he could not recognize because those other times gave his body pleasure even as they gave his psyche torture. I am glad that he recognized at least the times when he was physically harmed...

Aelfgifu was my favorite character, I think. It might have been Hiccup if it weren't difficult to concentrate on him... wow, even as the reader I'm trying to disassociate myself from his experiences.

This piece of literature... it was well-crafted, and I cannot thank you for it. It was, after all, appropriately horrific.
