Excellent! It's rare to see these fanfictions and I love it! I also liked that you showed a love-hate relationship between Gyatso and Tashi. In the show, they depict them both as constantly conflicting. It was nice that they had a brief moment of brotherhood between them.

I love the new perspective you used in ATLA! Aang's past is often overlooked in fanfic, but you managed to put in so much emotion in just 2,000 words. I know this is a one-shot, but it would be great if this was turned into a story somehow :3
