I live the idea, and you’ve done a wonderful job with each person’s character as well! I’m truly impressed with how spot on you are with portraying the characters. I can’t wait to see more fluff and live towards baby Harry! This story makes me wish James and Lily had lived to raise Harry as he should have been, loved and coddled. In the time that has passed I’ve finished my A Levels and started at university, and stopped being so invested in Harry Potter. But this fic is different, it tugs on my heart strings still, and tonight, when I’m feeling so homesick I could cry, it provided comfort and warmth. I hope that you, the author, are well. I hope that you are happy, and I hope that you know just how much comfort your words have lent me over the years. The way you depict these characters is so perfect it feels like you’ve captured them from my imagination. Somehow you’ve put into words the warmth of friendship, belonging, teenage hood. Even if this fic is never updated again (which I hope isn’t true!) it is still so wonderful in its current state on incompletion. Thank you thank you thank you, for giving me hogwarts again as a young adult. |
