I'm a terrible person! I completely forgot about Gimli, so it was a lovely surprise to find he'd be introduced in this chapter. I loved him as a teenager though...moody and snarky, just like he was in LOTR - great job, I'm desperatly curious now as to why the don't like Elrond - I'm guessing Thranduil's name will come up, and Legolas? :-D
