I really enjoyed reading this story and the way that you portrayed how Mary lived in the painting world, what were her thoughts and the like. By the way the ending is heartbreaking.

Very touching and emotional. Mary is so in-character that it hurts to see her so vulnerable; the Beach painting really added to the atmosphere and made the piece all the more bittersweet... *Heart*
