Other than deliberately ripping off Shadowrun, nothing sticks out to me. It reads like an RP chatlog with narrative exposition hastily thrown in.

Your energy would have been better spent fleshing out the AU you’re so proud of, rather than appealing to fanon precepts at every opportunity.

I find this story very interesting and I can't wait to read more. Another story like the one you mentioned in the AN would also be interesting, nobody writes advanced tech and chakra existing in the same setting which is a shame.
