Omg Harry what the actual hell?! You didn't inform him of his mother or the circumstances of his birth, didn't tell him about his bloodline, didn't warn him about the prejudices of the wizarding world with any tips to stay morally above it, and you didn't even wait until AFTER you guys exchanged your first letters, knowing/believing that he was going to miss you badly, to disappear into the future for months without warning! How...is this being a guiding hand? How is any of this helping Tom in the ways that he hopes it too? All he did was remove him from the orphanage and treat him nicely, warmly, but also distantly. That is NOT enough to help a troubled child that he KNOWS has issues bad enough to potentially become a mass murderer. What the hell have they even talked about all these years? Does Tom even know HOW Harry knew about him to ask for him specifically? Or even why Harry wanted him in the first place? Or why Harry didn't get him sooner? I also find it interesting that Harry's efforts and continuous fuck ups have only accelerated Tom's path to Dark Lord-hood. That's...hilariously tragic.
So! While I appreciate your efforts to translate this and am making a note here to check out the original author...I'm gonna take a back seat to this and try continuing this some other time. I know you warned that Harry was a naive bleeding heart but I was not prepared for his constant foolishness and lack of awareness to the point that he comes off as pretty damn dim despite his knowledge. Thanks for again for this! It was an interesting read.
