Always love to see old projects returned to and finished. Riley is a lovely addition to the cast and the relationship with Carl is pure bliss to read. Though her dependance on the boy calls into question his death. If cannon is followed and Carl bites the dust I fail to see how Rick would ever realistically stop her from turbo fucking Negan's soul. Here's to hoping Cowboy Grimes survives in one of these damn Fics. Love the work mate, can't wait to read more.

OMG! imagine my surprise when I saw an update for this! I am so happy that you and this is still alive! this is one of my favourite TWD fics. thank you so much for not abandoning this, I cannot wait to see what you got in store. I will have to reread again ;)

It's good to see you again. I like this story. But I really, I mean REALLY hope you won't stay to close to canon. I mean I read many stories like that and Carl ALWAYS dies which was totally dumb and unnecessary and if he doesn't authors usually end story anyway.
So my biggest hope is that you will take the challange and DON'T kill him in your story. Personally I think killing Carl is choosing an easy side. People are scared that they would move to far from canon. I really hope you have guts to write him in season 8,9 and 10. I would love meet SOMEBODY who can do that.

Well that was my personal hope but if you want your story to stay unique compared to others Carl/OC stories then I would heavy recommend this. Ususally there is some sappy goodbye moment and sometimes OC is pregnant... That's it, that's just how people do this and I have seen it so much that it's so boring at this point. I mean I looked everywhere but nobody ever wrote a story about where carl is alive in season 8 and throught 9 and 10. It would be cool to see how Carl would handle Rick "death" and how would Riley support him at that time.

So yeah... I can't tell you how to write your story. But if you did that you would be literally the only person who choosen something else than killing Carl. It was a good chapter. I hope you will update soon.

HOLY FUCK, THIS STORY IS GOD TIER! It’s 7am now and I’d binge read this and my god, hands down the best Carl/Oc story...shit Riley is such a badass man, she reminds me so much of Ellie now from the last of us (badasses)
At first I didn’t want Glenn to die, and I hate reading when he dies but you wrote it in a way that I LOVED IT, the necklace part got me in the feels. I hope Riley and the group get revenge unlike in the show, when they let him live and Carl lives
