So, so pure. You did such an excellent job of capturing Garth - even in the narration. Mr. Fizzles was excellent.
Also, the Harry Potter reference was Choice. I am definitely going to peruse your works after this!

You have just perfectly captured Garth here. I love it! Also, a little concerned about the apparently mystical properties of Mr. Fizzles? Is he a haunted sock? An enchanted sock? Is Sam just an impressionable seven-year-old? Does he still see the glowy Mr. Fizzles when he's full-sized? Inquiring minds want to know!

But I just love how you've captured Garth's optimism, his pleasure in the little things, and his deeper insight into how people work and letting them work out their own problems when necessary. I know this fic is old but after the day I've had this made me smile and I had to leave a review. :)

I was thinking Garth was going to shake his head, and shake Dean over the potion because Dean is precious to Sam.

I imagined the No Diggity song and nearly burst from laughing so hard. WHY?I DON'T REALLY KNOW. GARTH'S AN ADORKABLE DORK OF ALL DORKSVILLE. Your writing is just so quirky and hysterical. ANE I MAY HAVE WIBBLED AT THE SAMULET.

This was AWESOME. You wrote Garth EXACTLY as Garth should be written. Perky, hopelessly optimistic, both loving and lovable... And with the best internal monologue regarding the brothers ever. lol Garth is one of my favorite characters, mainly because I just want to give him a freaking hug. He's adorable, plain and simple. Also, wise beyond his years and really a good friend to the brothers. You captured all of that here, all while loading the story with hilarious nonsense. It was perfection. I just...Geez this made me smile. :D Also, can I just say that the idea of Sam's most precious object being the Samulet, but letting that just get kind of subtly slipped into the story from an outside perspective that didn't know the importance of that object, was incredible! It made me feel all emotional and yet I was still laughing because of Garth's way of viewing everything. This was spectacular. Definitely headed right for my favorite's list. ;) And speaking of favorites, this line here rocked:

"Dean looks either like he has to poop or like he's going to hold his breath until he gets what he wants (Garth decides that must be Dean's concerned face)."

Hahahaha! That's a Dean-face I can picture so clearly. lol Oh, and before I forget to say so, kudos for utilizing the majestic Mr. Fizzles in this story wonderfully. ;)

P.S. Oh my gosh you made a reference to Dumbledore in the middle of this and I want to hug you now. lol
