Mostly fandom-blind when it comes to Digimon (my kids are fans, but I don't watch it myself). Just letting you know, so when I say something that proves I have no idea what I'm talking about, you can just laugh at me for being fandom-blind. ;)

Knowing nothing about Digimon, I don't know if these characters often play soccer, and I'm not an athletic sort of person myself, but I can sympathize with the whole idea of being caught out in the rain and ending up cold and wet. Definitely uncomfortable, yup. Though it seems Daisuke isn't too uncomfortable...or at least, he says he's not – he's shivering, though, so I kind of think he's not being entirely honest.

I had to smile at the line about their ages and his voice being 'deep' but still high. :)

Being fandom-blind, I must admit I'm a little confused by all these names and family relations. I'm sure they make total sense to someone who's familiar with Digimon, though.

I'm having a bit of trouble picturing hair that is both 'poofy' and dripping at the same time – is his hair only poofy when dry, or does he have some sort of hair I've never seen that's capable of being poofy while dripping wet?

Also, I assume he's a senior at his school? I thought he was only twelve, though?

Ha! So now he admits he's cold! :) (feeling vindicated, lol)

I kind of hope she's not really his sister? That's metaphorical, right?

It's kind of cute to see kids this age wondering what romance even is: 'What was that anyway?'

I really, really like the second to last line – it put a smile on my face and made me feel all warm and fuzzy. :D
