On ffnet I have noticed that mostly only het Shinji fics get attention, you should crosspost to AO3, where the majority of fics are K/S. Your fic is well worth a read, I loved how you characterized Kaworu, how he's so mature, witty, but then his feelings overtake him...You didn't ignore or bash other characters, ahh I always wanted to read a long fic from Kaworu's POV and this was excellent.

Can all of you asushin shippers shut up no one wants to hear about how you prefer an abusive pairing instead of KS.
Anywayy I really loved this story so much! There's so less fics where Kaworu is nothing less than a gay cut out so this was refreshing to read. I loved his interactions with the cast, especially Kaji. The way he developed from finding humans amusing to genuinely having feelings and caring for them was lovely to read. My only problem was the ending? It seemed kind of..rushed. But overall a great story, one of my favorites.

I liked this story even though I feel Asuka and Shinji is the more realistic pairing in my opinion, the story was still well-written and the characters feel true to themselves. Though I felt the ending was kind of rushed and felt inconsistent with the rest of the story. I think you could have brought up Third Impact more slowly like you did the rest of the story, just felt like you were trying to speed through it during the end there. Also, I thin it would have been better if you divided all the chapters, instead of putting them all together into one, as it can hard to find your place again if you're coming back to the story later. Other than that, the journey getting there was pretty great and I hope to see more work from you again.

This is my all-time favorite Evangelion fanfic, and I fell in love with it the moment I first read it back around 2009. My favorite moment is when Kaworu deployed his AT Field once Armisael threatened Shinji. I can just imagine it playing as similarly as when Shinji attempted to rescue Rei in 2.0: eyes glowing, dramatic music building up, voice a-growling.

I'm really glad you re-uploaded this fic. It's always a pleasure to come back and read it.

Absolutely fantastic! The length was perfect, the plot was great too. I liked the ending although it skipped around a bit. The best part was the gradual and natural character development for everyone, especially Kaworu. You could tell he was becoming more and more "human" as time went by. The relationships were also great, as he goes from being an outsider to a true friend. The parts with the angels were especially interesting to me as well. They all seemed to have the same mindset. I really want to find out what happens next!

I certainly can't believe I finished this huge story... And that i loved every minute of it... Seriously it was magnificent...

All the struggle, all the learning, and the cluelessness kaworu experienced while learning from human, or how shinji and him were falling in love so slowly they almost didn't even realized it!

The detail about kyoko was great to!

Welp I basically read this entire fic over the course of a day! (Just finished at 4:27AM) And I loved every bit of it. I love how we get to see Kaworu's point of view during the Evangelion series and the plot you have created. I really want to get a full understanding of the entire masterpiece. It may take a while to truly process, but I really loveeee this. I really appreciate Kaworu's very sharp speech patterns and his psychologist like view on human actions. To be honest I didn't want it to end! But you've definitely wrote enough. I think this has given me a better idea of the Instrumentality that I failed to understand when I watched the Evangelion anime, and other bits I didn't wrap my head around. I also enjoyed seeing more of Rei, Asuka and Shinji's character development. You definitely used canon and your own canon's to create a beautiful, action-packed, psychological and romantic read. I rate 10/10! Definitely checking out any more works you may have written. Thank you for such work! 3

I felt like finding his 'true love' was a bit weird for a half (or three-quarter) angel but meh
I dont really like the Third Impact, felt a bit rushed from the last Angel fight scene. I would have preferred if the pace stayed at the same rate throughout it, instead of speeding up near the end

Despite not being a KxS fan, I feel the need to review this story. Now while the ending wasn't particularly satisfactory to me since I'm an AxS fan, and because of instrumentality and all that... it IS Evangelion we are talking about, so the ending will be weird one way or another ( I mean, most people are not fond of episodes 25 and 26).
Again, I'm more of an AxS fan, but the way the characters were written was really good, and their interactions as well as the evolutions that their personnalities undergo were spot on, and it's easy to see that there was a lot of work put into this, especially considering the fact that this is a 1st person story, making it harder to write.
This is the real reason I review: while not really my type of story, its quality, the research done and time involved make it a true work of art, that certainly deserves more praise than what it curently has.
