Suppose by some twisted fate there was an AU where Pearl is the one who ended up with Greg and had Steven while Rose is the one who is left behind and thinking "It's over isn't it?" How would that go about? What differences would there be, of any?

This is super sweet. I've always felt for Steven, because he tends to have flashbacks of traumatic events. That episode was truly horrifying and heartbreaking in terms of Pearl getting poofed and Steven being afraid. You did a really good job, and those last few lines are really funny.

Hahaaaaaa! That ending was so cute! I like the Steven and Pearl pairing, but its hard to find.

That's so sweet. And I like how Pearl comforted Steven. I was scared, too, when Pearl got stabbed. I didn't see it coming. I was afraid she was going to die and I'd never see her again. She's my 1st favorite character, but when I learned about them being able to regenerate, it made me feel better.

And actually when she regenerated, I thought her sash was a cloth bandage where she got stabbed. But then realized she never removed it and figured out it was just a sash to go with her new outfit. Both her outfits are pretty.

Steven felt a bit well spoken when referencing dilation ETC, but I really liked the set up and over all execution of this idea, it makes sense and was really sweet. Also, kind of curious where you got the cover art, it's cool.
