Great story. Very well told and emotional. I just feel bad for Tod. Oh and the poor bear as it was really Slade’s fault that it attacked. Still this was really good.

I like your alternate ending. I like how you described that Tod is the right mate for Vixey, rather than her ex-mates, who were self-absorbed. I smirked when Tod's kits jumped up on their uncle, Copper. It was different, but I like how this fic is written. Hats off to you for writing a suspenseful, traumatic turn of events. :D

Perfect. There's nothing more I can say about this story but that. Just perfect. I guess I'll comment though: I could picture this ending playing out in my head, and I think you hit it right on the bullseye. I think if this were the real ending, I'm sure it would definitely be the first PG Disney Animated movie, and The Black Cauldron would be the second.
