Actually I thought it was kind of obvious that they added Tauriel not to just be a love interest for Kili, but because they wanted to add a strong female character in a series filled with almost all males. And that is truly awesome! Tauriel quickly became one of my favorite characters, she was a total badass. And yes, the love story did in fact turn out to be cute as hell. :-)

This was so cute :3 I hope there were more Kiliel fics like this one -short and not too full of romance (i don't like it when things get too soapy) but funny and well written and just.. adorable.
