I'm the one who said I probably hadn't read this earlier because it likely gave warning of spoilers. Anyway, after reading your wonderful Cho-piece, it suddenly occurred to me that I hadn't remembered to read "Words" after the season had ended. Well, I've fixed that. As Jane might observe, with no small amount of understatement, "Well, that's lucky." It turns out, too, that I'm glad I got to enjoy "Words" after the finale because I think that timing really allowed me to appreciate the deft manner in which you addressed just how shaky the line is between Jane being honest with Lisbon and giving her the information she needs to make her own choice and his impulse and (I love that he admits) his ability to manipulate her. His comment to her that his opinion and his preference are not the same, and especially the note he ultimately leaves her, giving her the choice as to whether she wants to allow him to persuade her were brilliant. Kudos on the tone-lightening moment of Jane-babble, also. This was, indeed, another great character-driven Idan-work-of-art-not-to-miss. Thanks, as always!

Ok read this ages ago but only getting chance to catch up on reviews lol! (You may have got a few lol!). This story made me cry! Totally in character! I could see it happening like this on the show! He wants to stop her but also wants her to be happy so has to find a way to let her know but leave the decision up to her! Really well done as usual!

Thank you so much for this, it is absolutely gorgeous! The characterisation is spot-on, and I loved your Cho so much, the thing about the cherry blossoms was just so him! I love Cho and Lisbon's relationship and the fact you've written them so well is beautiful.

You're indeed an amazing writer, your last fic was just wonderful, and this one is on the top. You seem to know perfectly how to depict each character. The scene in the diner, with Lisbon and Jane dancing around each others… How she'd like him to give her some reasons to listen to her heart against the prospect of a new life ! And Jane is being his usual self, false cheerfulness hiding his hurting. The moment she has a glimpse at his despair from afar was heartbreaking.
I especially appreciated Cho's blunt statement, so very Cho ! And that's exactly how I pictured what would become of Jane if Lisbon actually left. I could imagine him taking more and more risks. The way you make him declare himself rings so very true. Just like the few artless speech we have from him in the show. It was very touching. Thank you so much for sharing this ! I hope you'll write some other beautiful story for us very soon.

This was just amazing! Jane does have her heart and always will no matter what. I loved how you made the end just really simple-they're happy.
